Sonoma County Republican Central Committee Elections Coming in 2006

The Sonoma County Republican Party is a volunteer organization which depends upon individuals who are willing and able to commit their time and experience to building a better community through political action. Seats on the governing body, the Central Committee, are elected public offices under Federal and State law. Seats are apportioned by County Supervisorial District. Nomination forms will be available at the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters office in Santa Rosa beginning February 13. These forms, with valid signatures of Republicans registered to vote in the appropriate Supervisorial District, must be submitted to the Registrar by March 10. If more individuals are nominated than there are allocated seats for each Supervisorial District, nominees will stand for election in the Consolidated Primary Election on June 6, 2006; otherwise nominees will be automatically elected to the Central Committee.
